Before the Session

Try to schedule your baby’s nap and feeding so they arrive well-rested and comfortable. Give your baby a full meal or snack before the session when possible.
Bring your baby’s favorite small toy or comfort item. Please bring extra diapers, wipes, snacks, milk/formula, and a change of clothes. If your baby is teething, bring anything that normally helps keep them comfortable.

What Should Baby Wear?

Simple outfits photograph best. We recommend: Neutral or soft colors Simple rompers or bodysuits Dresses
Overalls Knit outfits
Barefoot looks Outfits that coordinate with your selected setup
Please avoid large logos, neon colors, and very busy patterns.

Feel free to bring 2–3 outfit options and we can help choose what works best with your backdrop.

Family & Sibling Clothing

If parents or siblings will be joining the session, we recommend coordinating rather than matching exactly.
Colors such as cream, beige, white, tan, brown, soft gray, and muted earth tones photograph beautifully. Try to avoid: Large logos Very bright colors Busy prints Everyone wearing exactly the same outfit

For Themed Sessions

If you selected a themed milestone or birthday session, we will prepare the main setup before you arrive. You will be reasonable to prepare your baby outfits. If you would like to bring a special outfit, keepsake, or personal item, please let us know in advance so we can make sure it coordinates with the setup.

Cake Smash Sessions For cake smash sessions:

Bring your baby’s cake unless otherwise discussed. We recommend a small, simple cake with soft frosting. We also sell a 6"naked cake for $25 each. If you'd like to order from us, please let us know at least 3 days before your appointment. 
Avoid very dark frosting colors, as they can stain skin and clothing. Bring a second outfit for after the cake smash. Bring extra wipes and a towel. Please let us know about any allergies before the session.

Most Importantly Every baby is different. Some babies warm up immediately, while others need a little extra time. There is no pressure for your baby to smile the entire session. We’ll follow your baby’s mood, allow breaks when needed, and focus on capturing their natural personality. We can’t wait to create beautiful memories of this special milestone!
